Our Story

Add that special touch to a special occasion

We came up with an idea to sell unique gifts which we had never seen before. This was just an idea which would personally help our own situation. I worked in Diageo at the time and Karen had not long left after 28 long years. One of my workmates Donna actually came up with the name The Wee Couper of Fife as we would have brainstorming sessions at our work, so thanks Donna it was an excellent idea. We then had to source our boxes with foam inserts which was a task in its own. Next hurdle was to find someone with a laser who could cut out the shapes required to make our bespoke giftsets, that's when we met Jane at Laserflair. Jane was absolutely first class and offered sound advice as well as a great service. We then had to find a designer to design the inserts to enable Jane to do the cut outs and were introduced to Catmac Design. Cat is such a nice and helpful lady and so good at what she does.

Next task was to fit out the shop. We had to source whisky barrels to cut up for the counter which was the best thing we done as you smell the whisky in the shop every day. Myself and Karen fitted out the shop ourselves to try and keep it unique and authentic so we hope you like it and please visit, like share on facebook
